Jonny Greve
Director

With building in his blood, Jonny has been immersed in the trade from an early age, learning the ropes alongside his father and uncle. After completing his education, he joined his father on site, contracting for several local building companies. This is where he learnt trades such as bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and other skills. He later gained his bricklaying qualification. Jonny then decided to start Greve and Son which he has been successfully running since 2010.

All of his experience means that no job is beyond his skill set. Using the skills and technical knowledge that he has gained through previous job roles.

Shaun Strong
Site Manager

Shaun is a fully qualified ground worker who also went on to gain qualifications in bricklaying and carpentry making him a versatile asset to the team. After returning from working in Australia, Shaun joined Greve and Son in 2015 and supervised the groundwork and bricklaying division sites. Since 2022, Shaun has been the site manager for our larger developments. Shaun has grown up alongside Jonny- Their long-standing friendship and shared passion for the trade make Shaun an integral part of the Greve and Son family.

Gin Barrett
Supervisor

With a background as a qualified shipwright, Gin’s journey in the building trade began in the early 90's when he worked for a large double-glazing firm, installing windows, doors and conservatories. Gin joined Greve and Son in 2012, bringing his extensive expertise to the team. As Jonny’s uncle, Gin was instrumental in teaching him the fundamentals of window and door fitting, passing on his industry knowledge. Now, Gin supervises the double-glazing division at Greve and Son, while also managing carpentry work on site, ensuring that every job meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

John Greve
Supervisor

John has a wealth of experience in the building trade with a lifetime of experience including bricklaying, plastering, carpentry, and roofing. As Jonny’s father, he played a crucial role in passing down his extensive knowledge, teaching the team. John joined Greve and Son in 2020, stepping in as a supervisor to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. Known by the team as ‘old school’ John’s depth of experience means there’s little he hasn’t encountered on site.

Richard Davis
Supervisor

Richard Davis is a skilled carpenter with vast experience in the building trade having previously run a building company, PR Davis, alongside his father. He also used to work along side John many years ago in the late 90's. Richard joined the Greve & son team in 2023. Since coming on board, Richard has quickly established himself as a trusted supervisor, ensuring each job is completed to the highest standard.

Justine Reed
Accounts Manager

Justine is the latest addition to the Greve and Son team, bringing with her a solid background in office administration and management within the building industry. As Accounts Manager, Justine is dedicated to a range of office duties, including managing emails, raising invoices, overseeing stock control, and keeping our vehicle fleet running smoothly. With her attention to detail and organised approach, Justine plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

Zoe Moderski
Social Media Manager

Zoe joined Greve and Son in 2024 as a part-time Social Media Manager, bringing three years of experience in the field. She is focused on enhancing our social media presence and engaging with our audience across various platforms. Zoe is dedicated to creating content that resonates with our community and helps drive the company’s growth online.
